Who We Are
A Buffalo company with its own trucks, its own yard and its own phone line
Buffalo Dumpster Co. rents roll-off dumpsters and hauls junk from our yard at 747 Walden Avenue on Buffalo’s East Side, in the Lovejoy council district, minutes from the I-90 at Exit 52 and the I-190. We run five container sizes, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards, plus a box truck and a crew for the jobs nobody wants to lift.
The people on this page are the people you deal with. Peter runs operations and the trucks, Brett runs the yard and keeps the containers clean and roadworthy, and Julie answers the phone, sizes your job and books the delivery. When the office is closed the calls still come to us, not to a call center.
We quote one flat price that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, and we say so before the truck leaves the yard. We also know the local rules, from the City of Buffalo’s street-obstruction permit under City Code § 413-4(C) to the Village of Lancaster’s permit for every dumpster and Depew’s $10 temporary-dumpster permit, and we tell you what applies to your address before we deliver.
How We Work
Where our loads go
Erie County owns no landfill, so every load we haul goes to a permitted transfer station and on to a licensed disposal site. Most construction and demolition loads go to Casella’s C&D transfer station at 1700 Union Road in West Seneca; other loads go through the East Side Transfer Station at 793 South Ogden Street or to WM’s Chaffee landfill. Material New York keeps out of the waste stream, such as electronics, batteries, refrigerant appliances and household chemicals, is routed to the right outlet rather than buried; our blog lists them.
We serve the City of Buffalo and the surrounding towns: Cheektowaga, Amherst, Tonawanda, West Seneca, Lackawanna, Kenmore, Depew, Lancaster, Orchard Park, Hamburg and Niagara Falls.
